The backyard was completely iced over for a week, giving Everett inspiration for his gingerbread house.
E's first recital!

For a few weeks at home he was randomly yelling out something we couldn't quite decipher.
Finally Daddy figured it out : "like a lightbulb"! And that was our only hint of what to expect at the school recital. But when the day finally came, and all the kids walked out on stage, E took one look at us, and did a 180-degree turn. He spent the entire repertoire turned around, focused on the giant Santa. I think our little ostrich got nervous.
But he did sing all three songs: Rudolph, Snowflake, and Jingle Bells in Greek… even if no one saw it.
Climbing up the stairs, climbing onto furniture and just generally monkey-ing around.
