We're so lucky that both sets of grandparents live in the same city. It's a quick road trip from Grandma and Grandpa's to Yia Yia and Papou's. We were hoping the kids would nap, but they got an epic burst of energy and decided to have a giggle/tickle fest instead. It lasted the whole 45 minutes. We'll take it.
All of Everett's very favorite toys have come from Uncle Mark and Aunt Ai, so it was a real treat to finally get to see them in person. Everett said he remembered them from last Christmas, which seems unlikely, but he was sitting on Ai's lap and hugging her right off the bat. Usually shy and skittish around anyone he doesn't know super well.
Banging on the keys and belting out songs. Who cares if it's not in tune?
Did someone say "presents"?
All you need is a flight of stairs for an entire afternoon of fun.
And snuggling with Daddy watching "Netplix" on the iPad.
